Hilger Crystals changes name
Name Change..... Hilger Crystals Ltd changes its name to Thermo Hilger Crystals Ltd to better reflect the company's position as part of "One Thermo Electron" ( www.Thermo.com) a multinational company with over 14, 000 employees operating in over" 30 countries with revenues in excess of $2 billion.
Managing Director Jim Telfer comments that..
" we are the same people doing the same things as previous. However this change in focus will allow Hilger to tap into the resources (both technical and financial) of our parent company Thermo Electron. The broad technical skill base of Thermo Electron and our associated "Photonics" business units will enable the company to increase technical leverage.
