This refers to two particular uses of our Crystal products: The Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) are using Hilger Crystals' CsI(Tl) in a project to determine the reason for the apparent imbalance of Matter and Antimatter in the Universe. The University of Sheffield, in the UK, is using Hilger Crystals' NaI(Tl) in an experiment deep underground to explain the presence of "Dark Matter" in the Universe. The results of this project will be very important to the science of Cosmology. These two complimentary projects are both investigating the "Big Bang", the "Dawn of Creation". "Tomorrow's Vacation" refers to the use of our Imaging Arrays in Baggage Scanners, installed in airports worldwide. |
"The Light" in this case is that which is emitted when certain of our Crystal Materials Scintillate. Read our 'Imaging Arrays' and 'Detectors' pages for more information. It equally well applies to the light passed through our high quality optical components; windows and beamsplitters. "See The Light" is our advice to users of crystal materials worldwide, go to our Contact Details and benefit from our years of experience in crystal manufacture. |
