Aran holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and brings over 17 years of research experience in both academic and industrial environments.

He is trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an auditor to ISO 9001:2015 and remains involved in various aspects of quality control, process improvement, and materials development.

Much of Aran’s role involves providing analytics solutions to senior management, taking complex data and converting to simple information to enable decision making across all areas of the business.

His knowledge of crystal growth, manufacturing, analytical techniques, and product performance evaluation assist the continual improvement of Hilger’s product portfolio and allows him to collaborate with customers to find solutions to product development opportunities.
