Jim is a highly effective leader who has dedicated his decades long career working in and advancing the science of scintillation, crystal growth, and radiation detection.

He holds a master’s degree in physics and brings almost 50 years of industry experience in various leadership roles.

In his previous role as the Managing Director of Hilger Crystals, Jim led research, engineering, sales, business development, and manufacturing operations to further accelerate the growth of Hilger’s portfolio of state-of-the-art scintillation and detection solutions.

In the 6 months leading to his retirement Jim has transitioned to the role of Strategic Adviser, advising & supporting the new Managing Director.
